This week the City of Providence announced the return of the EAT, PLAY, LEARN, summer program. This summer program takes place in Providence, Rhode Island to provide free summer meals, quality recreation opportunities, and summer employment to the community.
Based in Warwick, RI a short distance from the heart of Providence, the SquadLocker team was elated to get involved in this community-based program. To bring smiles and style, SquadLocker donated custom-decorated backpacks that will be used as part of Providence’s food take-home program. The donation serves as a reminder of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and will encourage participants to continue making positive changes in their lives.
SquadLocker Founder and President Gary Goldberg commented, “SquadLocker is proud to be a part of the EAT PLAY LEARN initiative that provides children and families access to nutritious food, engaging activities, and opportunities to develop new skills throughout the summer. We believe investing in the well-being and growth of our community’s young people is essential for building a bright and vibrant future.”
