Sports fans are the heartbeat of every team and a significant portion of the U.S. population. To gain deeper insights into this passionate group we hold dear, we commissioned a nationwide survey of sports fans from moderate to extremely enthusiastic.
On average sports fans attend 4 live games or matches per year and watch 120 live or streamed games annually. With so much engagement, we wanted to explore the impact of being a sports fan on memories, shopping habits, pre-game rituals, and other behaviors.
Making Memories
Triumph, perseverance, teamwork, and that moment when the final seconds are on the clock and a miracle play happens. It can be rare to experience such things, but for sports fans, they can leave a lasting impression.

Survey methodology:
This random double-opt-in survey of 2,000 American sports fans was commissioned by SquadLocker Inc. between May 24 and May 29, 2024. It was conducted by the market research company Talker Research, whose team members are members of the Market Research Society (MRS) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
